CP3 Community Professional Partnership ProgramA new service of CFIVE designed to assist and encourage first time student video productions by coordinating professional mentoring from the local video production community. Supplies and unused or replaced equipment may be donated or loaned through these efforts. iVIE Program Innovative Video in EducationA service of the San Diego County Office of Education, the iVIE program provides a student film festival and awards ceremony to foster the use of advanced and emerging technologies to support teaching and learning by providing training, resources, and curricular connections. Project LIVE Learning through Instructional Video in EducationA group of Escondido Union School District educators dedicated to the idea that video can used to create meaningful curriculum-centered learning tools and to foster critical and visual literacy skills in both students and teachers to increase student achievement. Project LIVE: San Diego Learning through Instructional Video in EducationA program of San Diego City Schools modeled after Project LIVE from Escondido Union School District. Mi Rollo My ‘Expression’ ~ in SpanishThis is an emerging program for the South County Regional Education Center where there is a special need for Spanish-speaking mentors to serve a special group of at-risk students. Mi Rollo will provide the educational benefits of iVIE and Project LIVE but focus on the personal role that the students are playing in expressing their stories and their cultural perspectives. |
